LES 3 VALLEES

Ski level altitude is from 1300 metres and 3230 metres, for an average of ski area above 1800 metres. There are 25 accessible summits, 10 of which are more of 2500 metres. Thanks to natural qualities (altitude) and regular in cultured snow production, the 3 Valleys area able to guarantee snow cover from the beginning of December until the end of April over the entire ski area, offering wide ski runs maintained nightly by 80 piste grooming machines.
The 3 Valleys is one of the safest ski areas in the world, offering the latest technology to both ski lifts and ski slopes using Gazex avalanche control systems: this remote technique is preventive avalanche triggering, and extremely fast piste rescue services) which means that ski slopes in the area can re-open faster after heavy snow fall. There are dedicated safe learning zones specifically to beginners and children.

A huge ski area offering magnificent scenery, wide open to exploration
Les Gets is part of the Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil ski area. This immense outdoor playground includes 12 Franco-Swiss resorts, 650 km of ski slopes, 195 lifts, 267 marked ski slopes, 243 km of cross-country skiing, 9 snow parks and 400 mountain meadow chalets. In Les Gets, skiing starts at the end of the village, in the middle of snow-covered trees and meadows bordered by magnificent mountains. Choose between two ski resorts on either side of the village: Les Chavannes, linked to the Portes du Soleil and Mont Chery, offering exceptional views of the Mont Blanc. The ski area offers ski slopes suitable for all levels, an area for beginners, Nordic ski trails, a wildlife area in the west, winter sports for children, and many mountain restaurants.

The name of the oldest skiing region of Savoie Alps says it all. Named after Jean-Claude Killy, the triple downhill Olympic winner of Grenoble in 1968, a ski trip in the region Espace Killy is always a privilege. The Espace Killy is officially billed as the world's most beautiful ski area because it encompasses three mountains and two valleys, and joins two outstanding ski areas, Val d'Isère and Tignes. The ski slope range for skiers is correspondingly generous, from beginner to professional levels. 156 ski slopes with a total of 300 kilometres of endless, wonderfully prepared slopes for every taste offer enough variety.
Nearly 90 lifts carry skiers ski through the area quickly and easily. Countless off-piste are accessed, the slopes of the Grande Motte glacier with slopes through the woods to Val d'Isere and Tignes in the villages below, inciteant true lovers of skiing and snowboarding at the Espace Killy, with numerous deep snow slopes where the famous ski race Rocher de Bellevarde in Val d'Isere; a defused version of the Olympic slope for men that is open to all skiers. Some, sophisticated Bosses slopes at Solaise and the ski canyoning in the Gorges Malpasset complete the offer for professional skiers.
