The Cayman Island

Nestled in the calm, turquoise waters of the western Caribbean...

lies the peaceful British Overseas Territory known as the Cayman Islands. Consisting of three islands just 480 miles south of Miami, Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman remain our little piece of paradise.

While the real beauty of Grand Cayman lies beneath the water, there is still plenty to see on land. Grand Cayman, the most cosmopolitan of the three Cayman Islands, blends rich local tradition with international attractions to create a truly unique atmosphere. From stunning 7 Mile Beach to George Town, the islands' capitol, Grand Cayman offers something for everyone.

One can dive, snorkel, or simply splash in the warm, crystal clear waters that are the islands' hallmark. Whether you are looking for the adventure of a lifetime or just a few days of respite, Grand Cayman is the quintessential "place to be".

Those of us who make our home on Cayman Brac take great pride in our island.

Diving in Cayman Brac

The waters of Cayman Brac have preserved that elusive tranquility and natural island getaway charm many search for all over the world. An enchanting world away from Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac diving features an eco-tourism paradise for divers and nature-lovers. Its legendary walls and breathtaking marine life have thrilled many of the world’s most famous underwater photographers for decades.

With more than fifty Cayman Brac dive sites, Cayman Brac’s undersea treasures are vast. On this vibrantly forested island, you’ll find the only Russian warship in the Western Hemisphere available to divers, the MV Capt. Keith Tibbets. This magnificent artificial reef was sunk in 1996. The ship is penetrable from several spots. A favorite dive wreck of many experienced divers, this Cayman Brac dive site features parts in shallower waters so divers of several levels can experience this site.

In addition, Cayman Brac has 11 sites reachable by shore.

LITTLE CAYMAN

The least developed and the smallest and most tranquil of our three Cayman Islands, Little Cayman epitomizes the definition of “an island getaway.” Our beautiful island offers seclusion and striking scenery everywhere you look, making it the perfect honeymoon island and a top Caribbean destination.
Only ten miles long and one mile wide, this island getaway offers you a rare combination of sun drenched solitude, glistening beaches, and miles of untouched tropical wilderness.
As divers in the know will tell you, much of the islands’ beauty lies beneath the waves. Bloody Bay Wall Marine Park is one of the most popular dive sites with adventure seekers from around the world, it’s full of life and vibrant colour and is famous for its dramatic drop offs and swim throughs.

Diving in Little Cayman

Many of the fifty plus unique Little Cayman dive sites along the wall start off as a shallow snorkelling areas before descending into the sheer expanse of pristine wall encrusted with colourful coral gardens and exotic sponges, for a Caribbean diving experience we promise you’ll never forget. The waters of Little Cayman are home to lobster, octopus, eagle rays, reef sharks, turtles and every variety of tropical fish including our super friendly Nassau grouper, Jerry; who loves a little tickle under his chin. His devoted companion, Mini Me, is ever hopeful for his lionfish dinner.
